Does anyone here know why the West African countries are asking the western countries to remove their military presence?
It appears that Mali is not only asking that they leave, but they are nurturing their relationship with the Kremlin and its proxies.
I don't think that bodes well.

I disagree, the West tends to be anti-gold whereas the BRICS (Russia being a primary part) are leading the charge to de-dollarize.  Russia is good for gold, not the opposite. In general terms why are African nations starting to boot out the West?  Because these nations are tired of being exploited by the neo-colonists. That's hilarious Boris. Not one country on earth, never mind African countries, have any delusions whatsoever what replacing Americans with Russians means. Capitalism may not be perfect but it sure beats a mafia inspired kleptocracy. The Russians will take everything they can and leave a war torn country destroyed by civil war. The Americans will at least build an occasional school, hospital ...more
