Chinese or Canadians?Which one is the better partner for Tanzania? Chinese of Canadians?
When the Canadians were generous they gave us lot of aid. Now the Chinese are generous. China has a future in industry and mining. Canada has bad mining laws and the Parliment does not want to change that.
The new Tanzanian govt must make the minerals Tanzanian or foreigneers will take the profits to their country like Barrick Gold which pays no taxes in Tanzania and no Tanzanian can buy Barricks shares.
So, it is for you to understand do you want to do business in Tanzania with the doctor or not. Chinese or Canadian it is the same. You want the gold and nothing for Tanzanians.
The President will be re-anounced today and new Ministers announced soon. I wish for a good minister of Mines for all Tanzanians and for those who want to be fair.
