RE: Long dragging affairDec 2nd Ruling re: SOC/CAN land dispute.
*The Commissioner has ordered, citing the interest of the orderly development of gold mining in the area, the immediate surrender for cancellation of the 0.07 square kilometre mining licence (ML 413/2010) (converted from PML 0010145) within Canaco's 196 square kilometre Kilindi prospecting license (PL 4871/2007). Part of Dec 2, 2010 News Release - the full statement can be accessed at the following link.

I talked with Nick at Canaco yesterday (Jan 12/11) and he clearly said that the land dispute is a non-issue and any remaining loose ends with the one remaining party
(with the mentioned Dr. I assume) are being tied up quickly and therefore that item does not stand in the way of the company's progress or of any forthcoming NR's. Another NR should be coming along soon. Call him for yourself if you like.
The Ethiopia spin out, more drill results and tsx are all being worked on. Some things take time and as far as I am concerned the NR's have been coming. Since SOC was ruled as illegal* (as per above) and is now out of the picture (GONE) the drilling NR's have been. (Dec 6, 9, 22, and Jan 6). That is 4 releases in a period of 1 month. Patience my friends. I would like them quicker as well but in all fairness they have been releasing reports as seems best to the company.
JMO for sure
