CCA has been building value for years. Management did a good job diversifying.  With all the uncertainty with COVID all the telecoms which at the very worst would experience single digit decreases in cableline products. Everyone needs internet and there are no new cable, home phone changes; people have already been factored in to cut cable, home phone.  There might be profitablility ...more

@Defiance 'Cogeco has not entered cellular'. CCA has a solid cable business, but lack of cellular is a negative since there is no opportunity to profit from bundling of services. This is why a combination with RCI makes alot of sense. Rogers and Altice are using large price premiums to try to convince the Audets to sell CCA. The Audets don't want to give up control of their company. A ...more

I agree on the potential bundling brings. The infrastructure especially going into 5G is expensive. Rogers put over a billion just for purchasing air rights. Cogeco just has been expanding with acquisitions with existing revenues. Cellular has question marks as to the additional funding for 5G infrastructure. Pricing concerns about unlimited plans and a push towards cheaper rates are an overhang ...more
