Globally the current inventory of uranium can supply the world’s demand for a little over 4 year’s. It takes around 2 years for the full cycle of pulling uranium out of the ground then enriching and sending to reactors. So if we ever experience a supply deficit it will already be too late. You can’t just pull a switch and create more nuclear fuel.. it takes a lot of time
