Anyone watching CFF?

Any of you guys paying attention to CFF? They've been climbing like crazy

CFF is following the same trend as Canfor, no surprise there.

True, but I beileve the price to book and potential upside is a lot more with CFF. Can't go wrong with Canfor in this environment though either.  Lumber prices are crazy right now.

I know both companies very well. I wouldn't put my money in CFF. But pretty much any lumber company will do well in this market. Look at where each company owns mill and how they are set up for the future. CFF is not where the smart money goes.

That's an interesting take -- the smart money goes to CFP by implication?  I highly doubt that.  The senility dollars are sure flowing though, with a notable nonagenarian buying for his purposes, not yours.  Canfor is something I know well in the sense I listen to the quartely calls, read the annual report, and worked there for a load of years.  It's also the only ...more

You know Canfor well because you listen to the calls and read the annual report, too funny. Were you also paying attension when CFF hit 21 cents per share. Haven't heard about your knowledge of reinvestment that CFP is doing or how they are lining up for the furture and not relying on outdated sawmills with poor fibre baskets. But i'm sure you heard that on the calls you listen to. LOL

Real nice spelling RhinopowerStump. Fat, broke and stupid is no way to stumble through life.

Aside from Ken Sheilds being a terrible CEO who poorly timed an over-zealous attempt at expanding CFF's enterprise, why would you say CFF is a no go?
