Debentures

The new debentures will pay 6.25% which is higher than the older ones but the old ones have a lot lower conversion price. Any  thoughts on which one is the better deal?

I think part of the question is, the longer they waited to do this, in today's environment, were they likely to get a lower interest rate or a higher one say, 1 year from now.  IMO, the answer is that interest rate would be higher 1 year from now.  And probably considerably so.  So yes, they are paying higher interest now than before (which I think is understandable as I think ...more
