RE:Is this dropping because AC is falling fast?markets are not rational - there is a broad north american market selloff from emerging markets - with AC it is down almost 28% from it's high over FX jitters (ie. higher cost to purchase fuel in US dollars) - but another poster appropriately noted that fuel is a passthrough cost for Chorus - they are insulated from fuel price volatility...I agree this is a case of throwing out the baby with the bathwater....that is what creates a buying opportunity - when things settle - buyers will realize there is a 12%+ yield on a relatively certain 2014 dividend and start driving up the price.
