To include details of aid to help hard hit sectors. Not a surprise at this point, but to have something concrete should help boost the shares of AC and CHR.

It has been very quite lately on any negotiations between the feds and the airlines, so I hope you are right. Any solidification of deal between the feds and AC in particular would be a positive.  I guess we will see some signs on Monday at 4et or there may be a lift that day in Patrice for CHR.   Ted

Hopefully the feds are not as brain dead as usual.  Make sure any bailout goes to company's to keep them viable not so they can offer share buybacks and dividends next year lol....  Sort of 2008 101 class!

Any predictions on Fed announcement for airlines? Strings attached are a given i figure.

What I expect is simple access to loans and a few platitudes.  What I would like to see is a federal requirement to restore regional routes, reduced airport fees in combination with federal financial support.  Hoping for that, but expecting the lessor.

I also think low interest loans on the conditions of: - reinstatement of most if not all regional routes cancelled     - This is a plus to CHR as costs are passthrough to AC, and more use increases MRO revenues - refunds to customers for flights cancelled required, even on non refundable tickets     - This also has little to no effect on CHR as the payments were between retail ...more
