Jazz Aviation Arm Staffing Issues

The news release from the company regarding keeping up with staffing is not true. Jazz is struggling to keep staff, including pilots (Losing twice the number of pilots and it takes in). The company is shrinking, as it already cut a large number of routes in western canada and is losing training staff on its embraer department at an alarming pace. Due to poor leadership the Jazz portion of chorus will see significant revenue reductions, as it continues to face extreme staffing difficulties.

What news release are you referring to? AC is contractually oblgated to hire a large percentage of their new hires from JAZZ. It is true that this was held off last year and those hires are now happening more often from my sources with both companies and in the training area. I think your 2-1 ratio is Askew and if revenue was materially lower than previously announced then they would have to ...more
