Cardinals Valuation...

I am not suprised CJ is having trouble holding 3 dollars today.
CJ vaulation is getting expensive compared to others.

Example is International Petro Corp (IPCO) has a market cap of 674M
Cardinal has a market cap of 422M.

The gap between these two companies shouldnt be 252 M.

IPCO is similar too CJ in some aspects but only twice the size...FCF and production.....

The tricky part is Q1 for CJ.  CJ could have a 80m-140M impairment reversal...

Lots of people can see the impairment reveresal coming for CJ.

I am not pumping IPCO.  1.5M shares of IPCO for sale at 4.50..just sayin...

IPCO Debt + Market Cap = 4 x annualized CF at $65 Brent and its 36% Canada Natural gas.   What metric do you feel this is cheaper than CJ on?

Well let's assume 65 bucks WTI.... CJ Cashflow is 120 M - 32M = FCF 88M In Cad Dollars IPCO Cashflow is 210 and 37M =FCF  173M in USD dollars Look at the market caps is all I am saying.... Like... International Petro Corp (IPCO) has a market cap of 674M Cardinal has a market cap of 422M. I am not saying to rush out and buy IPCO...the massive sell order of 1.5m shares needs to go ...more

I appreciate the input, I'm always on the lookout for the next great stock pick, so I'm not trying to argue, just get a sense of how you're evaluating so I can see what I might be missing.   I never fall in love with any stock, if someone could show me a stock that I thought was a better risk adjusted pick than my current favorites and the numbers checked out, my current ...more

Take Mr. Nuttall...well I don't think he is profit taking any CJ right now...do you guys think Eric is going to tweet when he is selling ATH and the gift his name has done to that stock...wait until Q1 comes out... Eric will do his moves before he publicly will share it.... Of course if wti somehow stays at 70...this is all a moot point....

I remember trading CJ in 2019. Back when i was much fresher in the game. less scars several decent swings that year. Taught me not to get too excited after nice rises. Take some of my money and run. Come back on a rainy day. It really is a shame i only get leverage at td over 3$, its nice to see all the BP haha. cant let myself get carried away. nice day so far id say.

Could even be swingier with Nuttall owning such a large stake. He has effectvely lowered the public float abit. And also likely has keep the shorters away as CJ is hardly shorted.  Shorts keep the market honest and they can;t touch this right now with Nuttall involved.  CJ was always shorted in 2019 but not now. I wonder what his exit strategy is...I mean his stakes are getting so large ...more

I recalled in one interview of Eric about a month ago regarding price target for CJ, he said 5.60$

I feel your pain today badshiuation when it comes to a broker being a b*tch with margin. F*cksakes lol. My broker lets me margin Cardinal but today I wanted to hammer IPCO on margin due to their Q1 results and I couldnt margin a cent...and stock was 4,50.   Bizarre.  But CJ i can leverage.

It's very encouraging, looking strong for sure. Q1 is likely 80-140M in net income. However just sayin I still think I have another crack at buying this under 2.80.... I have had two runs here so far instead of one run. I maybe didnt hit the tops but very nice runs and two.
