RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:NEB say peak energy 2018!! My point wasn't that China and India won't need oil. I own CJ because I believe the world will still rely heavily on oil. And obviously China and India will be the main drivers of oil consumption in the next decade. My point was simply to say don't be so dismissive of electric vehicles. Claiming scooters are dust in the wind clearly shows how little you understand Asia. Scooters are the main method of personal transportation in countries where most people can't afford cars. They vastly outnumber cars. That goes for Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia... So yes, they will need oil. But they are also developing renewable energy infrastructure. Don't dismiss that offhand.

That is funny ! China bought 28 million cars last year .. In 1990's they only bought
one million.
They are growing gdp of around 6% , but really they have grown so much that 6% compared to say 2006 .. would be like saying 20% or more.
Some electric scooters is like dust in the wind to a country that grows infastructure at a rate
equivalent to building 8 new york cities yearly. THE amount of jet fuel and diesel to build that amount
of infrastructure is through the roof lolol. And now even INDIA THE next china is closing in on needing 5 million barrels oil daily ...THIS growth is not all of Asia ..
