Sellers are obviously forgetting that recessions to not last forever. Yes, revenue will decline in a recession, but it should recover very well post recession and a corresponding recovery in the share price should occur given the dominant position. Unless they are traders rather than investors ( 1 year +) they will regret their haste. More money is made by buying in a trough when a recession is looming,  not when rates are dropping and expansion is on the horizon.

What reccesion...I dont think their will be one if it is why so many jobs available...Inflation not a factor at this point. All prices in.

I think it is fair to assume that the sellers are concerned about a potential recession as most regard this as a cyclical equity. Some will attempt to re-enter at the “perfect” time before the upswing. However, in my experience, that is almost impossible. Most times the re-entry occurs at higher prices and lower profits. Most CO’s. In the transportation sector encounter margin compression at this stage of the economic cycle. However, if you review their stock charts they all perform very well over the long term. Opportunities occur here for those that understand economics and human psychology and subscribe to “buy low, sell high”. To sell here you have tp believe that we are headed to a ‘30s depression. Unlikely!!
