RE: no more It's not about guidance or production/sales with Cline. It's all about getting to 6-7 mty which will make New Elk a very valuable asset. Remember Fording? They were producing 22 mty which made them the 2nd largest producer of metcoal for the seaborne market in the world. What did Teck pay for Fording, was it $16 bil? The management and the board have an exit strategy and this is the reason why when they keep missing guidance targets (which I believe was a red herring), they have no problem raising money to build out the mine. IMHO
BTW, this is turning out to be gift from the gods for fund managers. Their return on CMK will be eyepopping at the end of the year.
