RE: RE: Costs

RE: RE: Costs

A dose of skepticism can be very healthy. Anybody can input numbers into a spreadsheet strictly based on assumptions. I wish life in the mining business were that simple. My skepticism comes from the difficulty that established coal producers like WLT, BTU, TCK have in meeting targeted production and costs. There are so many curve balls that get thrown at companies in this business. I'm sure not going to hold as gospel any numbers put out by a consultant based on one snap shot in time especially based on projections with no actual production to base your budgeting and forecasting.

To me it just doesn't make sense that CMK would have lower costs than WLT when WLT is a bigger producer with an operating history and no contracters doing their producing. We also have no idea what price CMK would actually receive for their coal as we don't know what their actual product mix would look like.
