Pretty soon all traces of memory of that pathetic character , Bates, will be gone. Mark Haywood, take down that goofy-looking picture of Bates holding two pieces of coal from the Web site of the company, the only coal ever produced, as another blogger rightly noticed. And also, scrap his name off that portal, the Bates Portal. The less we remember of him the better for everyone. And see if you can get him a life guard's job for the Summer, that would help.
