as kinda expected......

It is not suprising that something was in the works to ensure they do not run out of cash. With no real cashflow in the near future, they could not take the risk of not securing cash. This is good news. Hopefully it is not followed by some negative news.

Is this a good time to average down? We have been burned in the past by this company, and we are  living in very volatile times. A strategy may be to wait, get some more information from the company, and then buy more shares if all appears OK. I would not mind buying more shares at a higher price if I am confident that the mine is progressing well.

What a shocker this is released a few days before the real info about the company comes out. It looks to me that this is a nice cushion for the negative info. I believe this to be less of a backstop and more of part of the plan. I purchased a lot at $2.88, and have averaged down over the last year but still underwater at these ...more

I am glad you responded. We both have profited from WTN and both put profits in here. This is the 1st post I can recall that you referred to negatives, and management needing to redeem themselves. Until now your posts come off as everything is great and positive, etc. The fact is that you and I should be outraged at how things have gone so far in 2011.I have owned some Cline since 40cents, made a ...more

All the points you make a very valid on all the management issues which has screwed us to-date. Honestly I wish I'd been out in April and waited to October to buy-in again (tripled my shares), but the real honest truth is a sold some of my Western Coal a week and a half before the buy-out as I was more of a day trader and lost about $4 bucks per share on the upside, don't get me wrong ...more
