really??...

Simple fact is there are no more met coal companies left in Canada. Granted New Elk is in the States. The met coal market is hugely tilted towards the vendor."

That's gotta be the dumbest statement that I have ever heard...duh...all rules and regs are adhered to where the mine is located...regardless of ownership...u know that Art...and revenues and production doesn't matter?? (which Cline has neither)..u finally lost your mind me thinks...anyways there's more and more people posting here that are starting to see through the fog...or I should say smoke and mirrors that Bates and company are creating...but what a great trading stock...very predictable...just watch the insiders...lol...ain't no way coal can even leave that property as it is...thats a fact jack!!....and somebody tell that Flower guy that the stock price hit $5 because old Bates announced the beginning of production...and that was over a year ago...lol...the old hustler has been at it for 4 years now...keeps getting more and more financing...unreal...lol...he's good I must admit...:) BTW I only had 2 ignores before I posted on this board...and I still haven't been proved wrong...JMHO GLTA

and you haven't been proven right!  I could look ack and see but I'm too lazy and watching hockey BUT where were all you negative nancies when the price popped from 1.30's to over 2 bucks?  So bloody what if this is a predictable stock?  Good, if it is my only hope is I can ride the wave too.... I don't care if I make money on a stock with no future but great play or ...more

I was here during the 1.30's to 2.00's ( Read my posts) another $ 16,100 in profit in 4 weeks and I am sure it will happen again. And if it doesn't who cares. If people are just looking for a buyout target just buy LUN when the market dips again and wait for another offer like last spring

Oil: Amen - it sounds like you are NOT overy emotional about CMK.  Ride the waves and make money - who cares if we are bought out or who cares if it's all smoke and mirrorsby Bates (as others suggest) - as long as I get to sell on pops and buy on pull backs that's ALL that matters to me.

THIS is precisely the problem with the today's market.  Swing Traders, Momentum Traders, Day Traders, whatever you want to call them.  There is no difference between this and the litlle black boxes pre-programmed with their algorithmic start/stop orders.  People used to do homework and conduct due diligence and actually care about the business they were investing in.  Now ...more

Exactly. But wave surfers who don't do thier homework are bound to lose money or underperform the market in the long run. I believe we all need a strong conviction in this market, long or short.

What never changes is human nature. You still have to do DD and you must adapt to the ever changing trading dynamics of the market. Learn the rules...if you don't, a big foot is going to come out of the sky and squash you and your portfolio with extreme prejudice. Phyllis20

Fred, You are a victim of a market structure that has morphed over the past 15 years from a quote driven market to an order driven market. “Market makers” of today have little to no obligations. The role of a market maker and specialists used to be to commit capital and maintain orderly markets. That role disappeared as new regulations reduced the economics of market making. The void that was ...more
