Assumably NorthGuy does what he says, deep DD in the companies where he invests in. I know both GCE and WTN have (had) coal mines on land leases too. That's one of the reasons they have to pay royalties for the coal they dig up. So would it be a catastrophe when CMK has land leases? Twister

Not sure why you would say that. In the states very little coal minerals are owned by mining companies. Most are still held by the land owners. I never sold mine. I will never sell mine. I am presently leasing minerals in the states for coal and tar sands. Not one lease is a corp. all of them are individual land owners and I am talking over 50,000 acres.
