NEWS

I can't believe it but I actually got through to Management!!! I called the Cline office and got put through to Dennis Marz. I now have his cell number and can call him anytime. Dennis stated that there is no reason for the sell off lately. To date, they have 6 miners (not all continuous) and 3 super sections. The original 20,000 tons of coal had to be sold as thermal. They have an additional 70,000 tons of coal mined and anticipate another 10,000 by the end of the month. They had a delay with the railway (insurance) but has now been sorted out. I asked about year end production targets and he said that it all depends on the market. If the prices of coal are too low then they may not produce as much. They are in training mode for the workers but says that everything is looking positive. I told him to tell Senior management that they need to put out more information and increase communication because we have all lost respect and faith in management. he said that he will pass it onto the CEO.

OMG. Shane has posted something informative other than his usual one line profanity. ;-) This is yet another indicator that we may have hit bottom. Shane, thanks for the posting. Cheers.

Okay ckstar you big mouth. Dennis Marz office number is 719-845-8400 ext 332 and his cell is 509-995-2408.  Also to add, I asked about contracts and he said that the CEO has that info. I forgot to ask if they need more money. Perhaps one of you can call and share the answer with the board.

Cmon Shane!  In the words of wisdom form former Apple executive Guy Kawasaki, "Don't let the bozo's get you down!"  Turn that frown upside down.

Shane, I give you credit for calling Cline management and I don't believe that you are lying. If anybody doesn't believe Shane then they should call Dennis themselves. To call Shane a liar within calling yourself is unjustified. The interesting part of the conversation was that you mentioned the first coal mined was thermal. I wonder what the actual quality of the coal is? Also, who is ...more

mr1derful, I think you may have hit the nail on the head. I asked Dennis if they are on target to reach the anticipated 1.7 mmt and he said thatit all depends on the market price of coal. That answer tells me that they MAY be getting close to slowing production if the price of coal softens even more. The good thing is that I have heard that the price of coal in anicipated to go up in the 2nd half ...more
