RE:RE:RE:RE: lost in translation

I am a resident of Trinidad Co. 30 mins away from the mine and I can confirm that Robinson and son's trucking is transporting the stocked coal from the mine to the Jansen load out yard in Trinidad. The local word is that the mine has sold all of the stocked piled coal and it is bein shipped out via train from the Jansen load out yard. There has also been about 10 workers that got laid off from the mine in the last several weeks. Also, Tri State West, a mining staffing company from Grand Junction Co. Has got a contract to do a 8-10 week clean up project and are currently looking for experienced miners. It makes me wonder if a sales contract has been signed and it hasn't been made public yet.

Any idea what the value of the mined coal would be?

If sold as Low Vol HCC -  $140/150 FOB Export Port -  70,000mt x $143 (ave) = $10,010 mil   Depends on grade it is designated and FOB point.

I have looked up Robinson and sons trucking and can not find any info on them. There was a link with a phone # but its no longer in service. And it looked like a truck drivers training school. Can you post a phone # ?

Yes, the coal is bein transported from the mine to the Jansen load out yard. I thought it was Robinson & son's trucking but it's actually Robinson & Son's construction. The address is 23354 County Road 31.9 Weston CO. Phone # (719) 868-3625. Robinson's also has a ad on the Colorado workforce center and they are looking for CDLA drivers to transport coal from New Elk Coal ...more
