HXT vs HEX

Since July 2012 HXT is up to $11 from 9.50 while HXT is up to $7.30 from 7.10. Why such a huge difference? I understand the income from options may be waning as volatilty cools down, but how come there is no reflection of the value of the underlying stocks? Any explanations would be appreciated.

Anyone still around these days?  Have taken a beating with this one, any thoughts on the future outlook for HEX?  Low volumes suggest a lack of interest...??  Thanks in advance

You must bear in mind this ETF is combined primarily of banks, energy and materials stocks which have had mixed results in the last year or so.  If you bought HEX for income it's not bad but if you were looking for growth this was never the ...more

Thanks for the reply. I unloaded 5000 shares today with just under 9000 more to sell off if the price holds at or above current levels. I have move into HR.un and D.un.  Apparently the Dundee international REIT (Di.un) situation is not as bad as anticipated and therefore I will be adding to this REIT.   In the event you do technical analysis, it would appear REITS are on the rise as the ...more
