For the most part, their businesses are in different locations. Several of CP:s executive are from CN. Keith Creek, CEO was with CN and IC for many years, and was brough over to CP by Hunter Harrison. Joan Hardy, VP grain and fertilizers is another ex CN employee. Many of CN and CP management know each other quite well.
