There is almost Zero Political risk

To a Chinese buyer. After the new trade deal and China loaning $Billions to Nicaragra for big infrastructure projects and wanting more $ and likely getting it.

Add in China's love of gold and surely at least one of the two proiducers in advanced talks is Chinese. 

This company has a large gold operation in Colombia, and their long range plan includes more global mines. They would be my bet on being on the short list.
