RE:FortunesThis has certainly turned into a gut grinding ride...and we are just small bit players like gnats on a horse's behind. What mystifies me is why some major players like Russia or Mexico (or any other OPEC member other than Saudi) have not capitulated and negotiated a joint reduction in production. Surely they are nearing their breaking point. I get that Saudi does not want to lose market share. But what is happening now is just pure lunacy. All of the major players agree to a 5% reduction and this "glut" (how I have grown to hate that word) disappears. Even more frustrating is COS loses twice as much percentage wise. Same is true for BXE...another great investment I made. Whatta day. In the end I am just whining.
