RE:RE:RE:Takeover?Absolutely the take over rumors have a lot to do with it, as well as the large promised cuts to their operating costs.

In all likelihood another syncrude JV partner is buying up shares as well for an eventual take over.

All I am saying is that I think it won't happen over the next few weeks, there's way too much market volatility. I am confident that the market will find a bottom for oil in the March/Apr timeframe once the over supply starts to get worked through.

So what I'm saying is you guys could be right about the takeover--it just won't be as soon as you expect.

And as oil starts its retreat, COS will be available at $7-9. IMHO
