Since you work for Syncrude. How is Syncrude now?

The communication here is fantastic. To compare it to stock News Releases, we get one almost every day, (keeping us employees updated) wouldn't that be nice if some of the stocks we traded were so transparent and forthcoming.

No more overtime in my department, But all Syncrude employees are safe and they reiterate no planned layoffs. Everyone gets to keep their job, how nice is that.  Some say the  oil companies don't have the balls to make the real deep cuts necessary. Syncrude is operated and based in Fort McMurray, all the small business already feel it here. Taxis, food and beverage, hospitality, if deeeeper cuts are made, so many others are affected, all these majors know that. Part of the reason why they get together every single year and hammer out new incentives collectively to keep things competitive between the big oil producers, It plays a huge part in the community moral too.

It's also a nice break to have a few less D-Bags driving around town with their white belts and sunglasses.

My vocabulary is rather weak, I wish I could articulate it a little better but of that makes any sense.
