Upcoming SU and COS Earnings Reports

Upcoming SU and COS Earnings Reports
According to tmxmoney.com, both SU and COS are expected to release their quarterly earnings results near the end of this month.......SU knocked the ball out of the park last quarter, COS not so much.......perhaps SU CEO Steve Williams' effort to convince large COS shareholders to accept his offer of 0.25 SU shares will look more attractive after the earnings numbers for both companies come out and the share prices of each move accordingly......He may even up the hostile bid to a slightly larger fraction of an SU share for each COS share, but I don't think it will be much more.......SU is the one in the driver's seat - COS is the one piling up significant losses, trying to ensure there are not more equipment breakdowns that will affect production guidance and/or repair expenditures, and praying oil experiences a sustained increase in price to offset their lack of hedges.......
