RE:RE:RE:COS With SU's attempted profiteering, the hostile bid has brought to light just how undervalued COS shares are.  Low-ball offers are a novice move.  0.66 may have been more reasonable and the deal would have been taken seriously.  Now Suncor looks like a patch bully attempting to exploit COS shareholders.

Projects are approved based on long-term energy pricing, not short-term selloffs.  A deal would go through based on long-term pricing, not spot prices.  And you can have a look at the price of Canadian Synthetic oil, not wti.

If you are a shareholder, or an aspiring shareholder, listen to the people like Schulich, who actually have an understanding of business valuations.  The message boards here are full of day-trading children who do nothing but clutter the forum with nonsense.  Put them on ignore and these threads read effortlessly.
