RE:RE:COS/SU Deal What's your prediction? The bid should have been accepted with less angst at the beginning and then negotiated for a bit more. Hindsight does little however that was my opinion of the deal at the start. Now, with the entire global oil market in turmoil it is best to take the bird in a hand than hope for two in the bush. SU will get the votes, regardless. Williams is doing what is best for SU and his shareholders and the environment is getting more acidic. COS on their own may be wishing for another chance at this deal only a few months from now. Besides, of the 10's of offers...just where are they? SU is the best game in town...lets just admit it and get on with business. Its ugly enough as it is. I sold my portion of COS last March but without SU, I will not reenter. With SU and I may take a better look again. My only play in this segment is CPG and I plan to add as soon as I can make heads or tails out of this sector. Happy$$$Hunting!!!
