RE:RE:RE:Notley is decimated as expected.Oakesy: The overwhelming evidence is that a carbon tax is the most efficient way to reduce GHG's. Most taxpayers will either break-even or come out ahead due to tax rebates. Even oil companies support a carbon tax:https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/rob-magazine/article-why-are-canadas-oil-patch-ceos-changing-their-minds-on-carbon-pricing/
Not sure what your solution is for countering climate change. Or are you one of those ostriches who believe that climate change is a hoax promoted by, as you put it, "the left wing nutbar socialists"?
Alberta never was closed for business, btw. Rachel Notley did everything in her power to reverse the slide in domestic oil prices and those actions were successful. WCS went from US$12/bbl to today's $54, Canadian crude index went from US$20 to today's $51.
And what you expect from wonderboy Kenney is probably not going to happen. He can't build a pipeline by waving a magic wand and his intention to cancel the "oil by rail" initiative seems like just the wrong move to help sell oil to the US.
