RE:RE:Do the opposite? AI computers will adapt to anything you do in the long run. My brother writes code for numerous AI applications, mostly military and government BS. But he knows I trade in the market and knows my frustration over the past decade. He advised there is only one way to Best the AI. Go long. Because long term that's what they want INCREASED SP as well. Aligning your goals with thier goals. These AI computers are built for one reason only, to make day traders loose money ( how does that make them money though) When you sell cheap someone is buying AND THEY THINK LONGER TERM THAN MOST OF US. Banks are definitely involved. Have you ever entered your sell order and hit the preview button and watched the SP drop, cancel it and SP comes back up? It's because they are watching you. The preview button is you telegraphing your intentions. One would think the market wouldn't know your intentions until the order is placed but that isn't the case is it? This is true with large amounts. I've noticed at 400k or more something fishy is going on all the time.
your inverse strategy may work a couple times but these machine are literally watching and learning.
My brother wrote some code to predict market on a day to day basis but realized that's only a part of the puzzle. It worked but he was always too late. He needed as short as possible connnection to the tsx to be ahead of the other AI bots or it's a waste of time day trading . These banks are literally falling over each other when a space across the street from NYSE is for sale. That picosecond saved in transaction time makes millions. AI bots compete with other AI bots. You think you have a chance to transact and think faster?
so forget it boys and girls. You ain't got what it takes to beat them on a day to day basis. In a perfect world it would be illegal to do what they do. Maybe it will return to honest trading one day. I doubt it though!
if you feel the market long term will rise, just go long. Adjust from company to company based on performance compared to peers (or sector to sector)but don't day trade. Most of will lose money day trading (but a lucky few escape with a profit)
since I realized this 2 years ago I've made back all my losses from previous years. I used to stress out trying to make or hedge a few Pennie's SP a day. I've made 3 trades in last 3 years. I FEEL MUCH MORE RELAXED. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!! If we all do this, they AI bots will self destruct! Lol
