Announcement: Vista South Results....Vista South Drilling Announcement
CEO Gene Wusaty said "Results from Vista South continue to exceed our expectations and show the potential for Vista South to host a significantly larger coal resource than previously thought.
Any additional resources at Vista South will provide significant value by leveraging off the existing infrastructure and operations at the Company's flagship Vista Project either by expansion or extension of the project life."
Some important points from the Announcement:
* New drill results at Vista South confirm significant coal intercepts outside the existing resource model, with cumulative coal intercepts of up to 23m
* McPherson Seam intersected up to 10m thick in certain areas of the northern limb of the Entrance Syncline
* Results confirm potential to consolidate two exploration target areas in the northern limb of the Entrance Syncline into a continuous 11km strike length zone and expand the area of coal resource model within Vista South
* Further resource modelling is expected to result in increases to the Vista South Coal Resource during the June 2011 quarter
* Recently completed drill program comprised of 20 rotary holes to further investigate geological structure and two core holes to confirm coal quality
* Further drilling now underway at Vista South for an additional 30 rotary holes
This project is just getting bigger and better. !!
