I love to watch the close on this ticker as it is always entertaining.
The group controlling the share price had it nailed down at $0.98 which is a significant physcological trigger. When Crew breaks $1.00 shareholders fear the worst and may spend a sleepless night deciding if they should unload their position.
As I mentioned before it is the usual cast of characters working together. TD, Merrill Lynch, Anonoymous, CIBC.
Checking the chart you can see they had $0.98 nailed until 39 Merrill who must not have gotten the memo, perhaps sold at the wrong price ( $0.99) at the 16:00 mark. Too funny!
This group will continue to control the closing price, using a small share position (< 500 K shares) until Dale provides some sort of asset sale results or operations update or until the 2021 Q1 Financials are released.
It can be tough to hang in there when the share price is dropping but remember we are a little more than 3 weeks away from the Q1 report which we expect to be exceptional. The Q1 report will hopefully include an update on the 6 wells completed and on production from the 3-32 UCR Pad and hopefully updated info on the other 25 or so wells that Crew has drilled or is currently drilling.
This downward trend may be a "shakeout" ahead of positive news. Exciting times ahead.
