Back in.......Cr getting cheap!

ONCE more...........

Started a small position here.........once again. Haven't been in this one since dumping it over 2 years ago.......at a 7 fold profit. But i'm here omce more, because i believe CR is somewhat cheap at this level and that $2 & change NG prices at HH are NOT sustainable .....globally. Also, Crew will find itself in the same position as Birchcliff after Q1 of 2024. Pondering what to do next to survive these low NG prices environment and the ability to raise captial at decent terms in order to compete with peera & the market in general. And they will come upon the same dismal answers, truth as Birchcliff unfortunatetly is finding out the hard way...................sellout, merge or risk disappearing

Mrmomo, Why do you think the end is in sight with this name?  Don't get me wrong, the volatility in this name is exhausting, so I would be fine if they were taken over. They have $100-125M in debt.  They could just drill for oil and condensate for the next couple of years.  A prior slide stated that each 1,000 boe/d of condensate, with WTI at $75 gives about $30M of AFF.  ...more

If "The End in sight" is you referring to the possibility of the company being takenover then, YES, that's what i mean. Because the alternative is insolvency in 12 months IF NG prices ...more

Mrmomo, you may have a good point.  However, I am still convinced that Dale wants a double digit stock price, and maybe closer to $20 than $10.  We all know the stock will never approach $20.  But that's what he has in mind (I do not know anything that others do not know, just reading between the lines of prior presentations). I would take an all stock acquisition by someone ...more

"IF that's his intentions and he's THAT out-of-touch with reality and THAT arrogant, then you guys are in deep trouble. More than what i thought." With all due respect, people on this board have done extremely well.  Sure it could have been better.  I do not recall anybody looking for a $20 stock price.  It has only been mentionned that the stock hit that price in ...more

"We are not really in deep trouble, and unlikely to be." There is an old saying that if you say something enough times you will eventually believe it yourself. Although a lot of this selling is most likely tax loss selling which just snowballs and feeds off itself us CREW shareholders are definitely in trouble. Dinosaur Dale has failed us miserably and maybe had he communicated ...more

That's what I mean when I say he runs Crew like a private company.  He does not really care about the stock price until it reaches what he wants.  No communication with shareholders. He was probably hoping to get a pop on nat gas in the winter and keep the 4-year plan alive.  This will definitively not happen.  We will start 2024 without an outlook for the year.  Not ...more

gonatgasgo wrotw: "With all due respect, people on this board have done extremely well. " With all due respect.......it serves nothing to ride a stock, any stock all the way down from $20 or $10......all the way down to mere pennies and then ride it back up (especially if you did NOT take advantage of the lows!) to nearly the same price, only to ride it back down! What purpose does that ...more
