Dancing the Contago

Contango means that futures prices rise over time. The stock market usually values stocks based on forward futures pricing. The next 12 months is typical. That is likely already priced in for Crew.
What is not priced in is the change in the futures curve as we pass through time. That is unknowable unless the present futures curve is assumed to be correct. In that case the forward 12 months curve will rise rather quickly over the next several months.
