RE:RE:RE:CRH's Acquisition Disclosure
Perhaps the reason CRH doesn't inform markets or shareholders of the cost of the acquistions they make at the time they issue a press release announcing it is because they hope to get a boost in the share price on news of the acquisition and don't want any critique of the amount they paid for it, maybe fearing such information may blunt the "exciting news"....?
When CRH finally does reveal the cost of the aquisition on the next earnings report, there are many other numbers that shareholders / other market participants will be focusing on, so maybe CRH's management feels information on what they paid for the acquisition will be muted since there is a whole whack of other information / data that followers of the stock will be pouring though when it is revealed..........?
