RE:RE:Wiped about 20% of my portfolio
Interlisted companies seem to have more risk as they become suseptable to professional short side outfits like Muddy Waters and Citron. Fact is I think much more money can be made shorting than going long, and when I hear folks wanting a stock split on a companies shares, I just cringe, knowing it makes it far easier to drive down the price.
Naked shorting adds to the drive down and everyone is afraid to buy on the dips. Their targets are often ludicrous and meant to add to the fear.
Cronos must respond eventually and make a stand against these guys. However it is a distraction we don't need. Watch those guys cover quick if big alcohol or tobacco wants this company. If they pay a decent premium the shorts will be burned.- and cover quick.
To me the Canabis space is like buying a distillery after prohibition ended in the US.
