To all long-term share holders, go ahead and put a Sell Limit Order on all your CURLF shares. Give it a price target at least $50. My understanding is brokerages can't lend your shares to short sellers if they have an active sell limit order in place. This would in effect limit the pool of shares available to short sellers. I recommend you do this ASAP. Seems like Curleaf is under siege, so let's do what we can. Also, if Nov 8th Quarterly Report is when the company becomes profitable, the short squeeze will ensure a meteoric rise in the price.
Unfortunately most Candian firms won't let you set a stock price above a certain percentage of the current SP on the day.....they are not going to shackle themselves if they don't have to. This is how they are able to short stocks!! They can see your bids, your stop losses, and limit your sale price!! Sounds fair doesnt it!! This is why usually only big guns can make money day trading, longs just have to sit back and beleive in the company they have invested in...the rest is just a paper shuffle imo.
