Competition is good and forces companies to be more efficient making them stronger and "WEED"ing out the weak. The big MSOs are printing money and will be very profitable the minute legalization is passed. Just the tax burden alone on these MSO's is triple the revenue of the largest Canadian LPs! Yes CGC has 1 billion in the bank but they are burning through 500,000,000.00/yr and I don't think STZ will be forking out more money before the ship is righted. CURA will be making 2B/yr soon and will be making more money than that soon enough. LP's have not even figured out how to be profitable in Canada yet, in fact I think the consensus is they can;t survive if they can't get into the US. Europe will take a few years to mature into real money so thats a long runway to lose money if you are counting on that market to save your business. Moving into the US will not be cheap for the LPs and they are already struggling, it is more llikey some may be taken over by MSO's looking for some efficeincy or technology but the one thing for certain is CURA will not be struggling, but they may expand rapidly and easily into Canada cutting the legs out from under the competition at pennies to the dollar! Legalization will be the death rattle, but it will be the death rattle for the Canadian LPs!
