RE:RE:Cleaning house or jumping ship?
RE:RE:Cleaning house or jumping ship?"Thank God for the Chlor Alkali business".....? Perhaps more accurate to say Thank God for the Chlorate businessbusiness (sodium chlorate).... Chlor Alkali plant at North VCR is a major bogey for CUS..... Chlorine plants run based on chlorine demand. CUS is a long way from Cl2 outlets (USlGC), and even their attempt to burn their way out of the cl2 problem (HCl burners) will eventually flop due to distance from HCl outlets. Burner HCl competitors are much closer to consuming markets and have lower costs. Canexus should sell North Vcr chlorine plant.... Owners (CDN investment banks) should be divesting of this major financial drain and liability (ie cl2 release in Vancour BC.... Toxic inhalation hazard.... Many zeroes on the end of that lawsuit)
