18th Annual Whistler Conference...

I see that Doug made his presentation today. Folks, it ain't good...
It was very interesting when Doug answered the question on whether he thought Canexus would get their $525 million investment capital back from selling Blunderheim, if indeed they can actually sell it?
His response was;
The return on investment... the value of this business is not going to be based on what we spent, but on what a buyer believes they can generate as cash flow from the business... In the early stages of this project, there was recognition of value which was certainly at the top end but now recognizing the changes in the market, that value has eroded considerably since then...

There is a world of hurt coming to the present shareholders of Canexus. No wonder that Richard, Brian and Diane sold their shares at much higher prices.
Come to think of it, Doug also did address these clowns on selling their shares when he stated that the company has a cultural challenge to overcome and must now build a culture of accountability and performance. It is pretty obvious that Canexus's BOD presently does not hold it's management accountable...
Good luck Doug...
Kherson

where did you get this quote?  Perhaps you can post the entire quote and context than paraphrasing the pieces that fit your agenda?

the sad part is he spends the better part of his day combing through previous posts from months ago to make his case seem somewhat compelling.  I feel sorry for the guy.  He must be unemployed and bitter to have all this free time to research his posts.  I guess that comes with losing all your money in the stock market and trying to drag others down with him.  I suspect the ...more

Welcome to the board and intelligent analysis of Canexus. Kherson does appear to have an axe to grind which is obvious from his profile. I notice legal action at Peyto and if I connect the dots they lead to Kherson. You may have noted that management has changed at Canexus so if a large investor did due diligence 18 months ago, a different team was at the helm. Anyone's paper loss is just that ...more

Kherson quit it, you monkey.  There are some intelligent posts happening here.  Don't ruin it.  NOBODY POST AFTER THIS.  Thanks. Also, I agree with others, if you had a solid managment team to fall back on, you reject this offer.  But you don't, so get what you can and run.....it's clear the market doesn't think this deal is going to happen.  I said ...more

First of all, I will post whenever and whatever I want! If you don't like it either report me for abusing the SH rules, or ignore me! It's as simple as that folks... I have been posting for quite sometime on this board the failings of this company. Sadly, for most of you now holding this stock, your day of reckoning has come. You now have little choice but to vote for the deal and move on. ...more

"Kherson is involved in every disaster on the TSX, including the Poseidon fraud'. Are you implying that Canexus was both a disaster and a fraud, diolives? Maybe the ASC should be taking yet another look at Canexus, if indeed it is a fraud! Kherson
