Gasoline: The Price Rally That Nobody Saw Coming

Who?!

Who did not see this coming? Again!

This is how the downstream assets will hopefully start to pay off instead of just costing.

But

When the price of fuels rises, the prices of everything else rises, too, because everything else is being moved from one place to another—from producer to consumer—on vehicles using either diesel or gasoline."

With SPR inventories at extremely low levels, interest rate hikes and forced recession may be the only tool left on the Fed's belt. Let's hope something balances out because CVE can make good money at these levels but if they move higher I have no doubt that something will have to be done.
