If an Ebola Variant emerged and became Highly Infectious like Omicron and was spreading around the globe like Omicron but caused only symptoms like Omicron and just like Omicron still infect Vaccinated people.......
Would we shrug our shoulders and throw our hands up and say we will have to live with it and let it become an Endemic disease???!!!!!! Would we refuse Pro-Active TESTING for almost 2 years???!!!!!! Would we send our Children to school without requiring them to be TESTED first???
I HOPE NOT, because the Ebola Variant could mutate again, imagine an Ebola Variant with Death Rate of Original Ebola of 50% but now infectious like Omicron......
NOW do you understand Why ALL Highly Infectious Variants of Covid NEEDS to be considered "Variants of Concern" and treated as if they are as deadly as the most Deadly Covid Virus even if they are not..........Because they could mutate again and become just as deadly or more!
You can not (Should not) let an Ebola Variant become an Endemic, where we just "live with it".
The same applies with Covid (Omicron). But we have NO COMMON SENSE here....
It's 2 years into the Pandemic and we still can't Pro-Actively TEST everyone or yourself. Can't get your hands on a Test Kit.
