All the big multinationals, especially total and exxon, but also the others, are trying to improve their green credentials and prove participation in the energy transition. They talk about natural gas and hydrogen. They don't talk oil sands. Meanwhile Cenovus has lots of scale, has long lived assets that do NOT require continuous drilling, and can just generate cash (for us) for decades.
