war (a short one?)

war (a short one?)As a historian buff I always found history and war intriguing. Perhaps I even found war stimulating. Yet having studied it at university I have come to the conclusion that since Nam, war's are basically no longer winnable. The Soviets bailed on Afghanistan bcuz they became mired in an unwinnable war (the ussr's nam). How can u say that a war against Iran may be short. It would last forever and have huge global implications. Look at bush's quick Iraq strike (think he has regrets!!). The only short war I can recall is when the mighty U.S. invaded Grenada with HUGE success - yet I have a feeling that a few heavily armed posters on this board could have pulled that one off (lol)!! GLTA and as much as i love money I do not hope for war to spur my financial success - perhaps if u think like that (and I really think no one around here really does) take the onus upon yourself and start being a criminal and rob people so u can get ahead.
