RE: Natural gas has no value
RE: Natural gas has no valueNat Gas in Yemen is usually worthless other than to use as pressure maintenance and power generation in the field. If it has condensate, they can strip it out and sell into the oil pipelines. But there are very few Nat Gas pipelines in the country to allow export and none anywhere near CVI's concession.
CVI does have one of the few Yemeni contracts that give them ownership of the Nat Gas, so if they happened to stumble upon a multi TCF field, it may prove economic. But the cost to develop would likely be beyond CVI's ability to finance and it would be many years in the future, especially with this sub par "management" team. As such, shareholders don't want to hear about Nat Gas unless it's a monster.
