Posted this back in Mar 2023. Now they post another strong quarter, at least compared to most of the Banks. Anyone that bought in the 20-23 range in early 2023 is laughing all the way to and from the Bank. I have a sell in at $30, and ifthey sell, I will take my profits and move back to the sidelines and wait for the next trading opportunity.

The CWB has posted decent results considering the mess the last quarter was. Growth was not spectaclar but return on equity and the efficany ratio are both improving, Capital Ratios are doing well, provisions for losses are in line and actual loan losses are at the low end of normal range. The diversifcation into the east is finally starting to pay dividends. Significantly better results for the quarter than Laurentian or Scotia posted.
