Yes, it is true that any negative news related to VRX is also negatively affecting CXR's share price. However, the price action has provided a very unique opportunity to buy shares of a company (CXR) at a significantly low valuation.
The best advice I've head regarding CXR was from Peter Hodson at
5i Research:
"With that said, at the current valuation levels and given the longer-term outlook, we think there is some significant upside for investors who can hold the name for over a year while ignoring the day-to-day volatility that should be expected."
In the long-term, the fundamentals will eventually kick in and this should result in some very attractive returns from the current share price. It's just a matter of whether you can withstand (ignore) the crazy short-term volatility.
