1health (are you my cousin?) Yeah, I acknowledge that a lot of the problems are with FDA approval.... but increased competition by speeding approvals for alternatives may not be good for pharma in that it also limits the ability to take price. Again, I reinterate that this is my opinion only and is not to be regarded as a factual statement that directly impacts Concordia. My earlier post refers to underlying regulatary issues as having become a bipartisan issue, which is even acknowledged by the Chairperson Chaffetz.
Yes, it is clear that some house members feel more strongly at hanging pharma and their Yacht parties. Take for instance:
Cummings to Shkreli: "The way I see it, you can go down in histroy as the poster boy for greedy-company executives, or you can change the system - yeah, you!" (at this point he is spitting out of his mouh and the paper in his hands is a shakin'
It left me thinking..... wait a minute Cummings, you have been in Congress since 1996 with the ability to change the regulations and now he is begging a former CEO of a small pharma company to "CHANGE THE SYSTEM?" Huh? Really? It seemed like an act of abdication if you ask me.
